A Note from Our Founder: Why We Started

KRISP was born out of a simple realization: the traditional college job doesn't always fit the modern college life. As a student at The University of South Carolina, I know the constant juggle of lectures, labs, and clubs. I started KRISP to create a new kind of opportunity—one that offers students the flexible schedules they need to succeed academically while providing a meaningful way to earn and grow.

My name is Jack Holland, and for me, KRISP is all about giving back. While I am originally from Virginia, Columbia, SC quickly became my second home and has served as the backdrop for my growth throughout my time in college. Because this community has been there for me every step of the way, I felt a strong calling to support the people and the city that have supported me so much over the years. 

KRISP is more than just a business; it is a mission to leave a lasting legacy. My goal is to build a community of student-professionals who provide unparalleled service—creating a standard of excellence that continues to benefit our customers and empower local students long after I’ve graduated.

To ensure the "Krisp Standard" is met at every home and storefront, we don't just hand a student a bucket and hope for the best. Every new technician undergoes a rigorous training program before they are ever sent out into the field. When you see a team member in a mint green shirt, you are seeing a professional who is trained, prepared, and committed to excellence.
